This course has given me ideas to help lessen the pain, it does not always work. But it also encourages me not to give up. My partner is a brilliant support and this course has given him a better understanding. I am a very high achiever, and find it very frustrating not being able to do the things I want to get on with, this course has taught me to break things up into more manageable activities. I wish it would go away, and am learning to live with it better.

I found this online course very good indeed. The different steps broken down into sections made it easier to retain the informaiton, plus not having to sit at the computor for hours and watch all at once. I will be checking back into the libray from time to time to remind me of the different technique. Thank you to the team.

I found the programme helpful in understanding the impact of the pain of osteoporosis and how to best manage it. Unfortunately I fell and broke my hip in February so was unable to participate fully in some of the exercises. However, the relaxation videos have been very helpful. I hope to revisit this programme as my mobility and stability increases and appreciate the continued availability of resources in my ‘library’.

The programme is organised at a good pace, messages are addressed clearly and the supportive material is beneficially put together in the library. The course included a good variety of messages across exercises, pain management, the more scientific side of defining pain. Overall, the course helped me taking steps at the right pace and some good advice to manage my pain more effectively. Pain has not disappeared completely and I have days with flares, but it's important for me to have learnt how to manage these times better and to understand that a flare is manageable and I can recover quicker from it by using the techniques learnt in the course

A very useful program which has helped me a lot and well put together. I t is really good to know that even if the pain is there you are able to live with it and manage it without doing more damage. very informative with some useful exercises and meditation information.

If your starting or new in the programme your in the right place to learn a bit more on how you can help yourself manage your pain better over time. There is no quick fix as you know but this journey is certainly worth exploring. Be honest and open to exploring techniques - If like me you feel like you have pretty much tried everything, practiced every, this content is realistic and I Def found some of the co tent here more helpful than I was expecting. I know it tough if you are dealing with more than just pain , but any one thing you can learn to do that helps you Jas got to be worth it. You have totally got this. I found this Pathway Through Pain Program a tremendous help to me , unfortunately halfway through the program I got a flair Up and couldn't do the strething exercises for two weeks, however Im back doing them now and will continue doing them in the future, it's great to have this Program on my iPad because I can go back to it anytime. I also found the Meditation and Relaxation a great help and I would recommend it to anyone with a severe pain problem. Thank You.

The most positive aspect I have gained has been a mental shift in the right direction. I have a long way to go to increase my physical fitness to the level I need and I’m at the start. Having a better mindset has helped with my motivation to continue making good habits that will help me succeed.

I was sure this programme was not for me. I'd tried mindfulness before and relaxation with no benefit, but the course felt like I was not doing this alone and it's so useful to keep going back to reassess. I don't like the journal but am now finding benefit from other parts of the course I didn't like. The mindfulness is helping me to be kinder to myself and the relaxation is certainly leading me to better sleep - I am very happily surprised about this. I am already learning to think about my pain in a different way. Rather than fight it and get upset I am more accepting of it being there because I feel I have tools now to deal with it in a better way. I can't do this well all the time but I'm practising. It's so much better to be pro active rather than sit grumbling. I will definitely carry these tools into the future, self help is liberating. Thank you.

This course feels at first as if it’s a fob off but it is great from the point of emphasising mindfulness self care and self help all of which can be forgotten when you think medication/ surgery / more medication are readily available and more effective ( they often are not) So thank you for the step by step encouragement and sympathetic advice and understanding shown by the professionals taking part. Incidentally I felt that this course gave the professionals time to explain techniques that they would never have time to explain in a one to one consultation…please finish the course it is interesting to see the improvements however small that can be achieved by practice

It is a very good course, well structured with different things to achieve, I particularly like the videos especially the meditation ones ( even though I have never believed in them before). The people speaking are easy to understand and explain things at all levels, having the library is great as you can keep going back to it I take my notebook to bed so I can listen to the sleep one. I would recommend everyone to try this course you don't have to do it quickly you can take your time and work at your own pace going back if you forget something.

I found the program not very helpful for me because it is concentrating on musculoskeletal pain and I suffer on abdominal pain and IBS.

This was a good program . I've known about mindfulness and have done a course init a few years back. My pain is up and down but I think that's to do with my depression and anxiety issues. These have been with me for 21 plus years . I've had counselling many times but alas it's too deep to resolve . The exercises you've showed us are really good and I have more good days than bad . Thank you to you all for your help in managing pain
