Absolutely no good to me at all im afraid. I already try to meditate. I am extremely active and I have practiced yoga for many years All of the steps may be of tremendous benefit for some that don't know any of this but everything in the program I have already been practicing

While some of the messages in the program are important, the delivery of these messages was disjointed, sometimes contradictory and lacked empathy. Also, from someone who suffers with extreme fatigue and others health issues some of the advice about ‘getting on with things’ is actually harmful. One of the suggestions is to ‘decorate/paint a wall’ as a physical activity- that is so beyond my reach and beyond my pacing level that it was very frustrating. I found the video very amateur and the presenters very downbeat. It lacked a positive, upbeat message and any reassurance that we can live with this level of pain. Most of it was very depressing to listen to. The first meditation was very good and I will use that. The other meditation I found jarring- finishing and starting the meditation by imagining walking through a busy echoey hall way is not my idea of relaxation.  I was really disappointed with the lack of reference to other conditions. I’m starting to realise that those of us with pain relating to fatigue, fibromyalgia and long covid/CFS are just abandoned by the NHS.

I not depressed I'm in pain. One question was could I concentrate on reading or watching the TV, my reply was no not for several days, it doesn't mean I'm depressed I'm in pain that's why I can't concentrate, several questions of very unfair alluding that you are depressed when you're in pain, allso about exercise and stretching I do a manual job every day

I was sceptical at first but since taking part in the programme I have learnt how to cope with my pain and anxieties. I am able to recognise what triggers my pain and how I can deal with it. I’ve stopped beating myself up about not being able to do everything or not being as active as I was before the pain took over my life. My anxiety has reduced and I can now do a little bit more, while also knowing the technique's to use to help me relax and deal with my pain.

This programme has helped me to think carefully about myself and it has helped me to remember things which will help me which I knew before but had forgotten . I particularly enjoy the relaxation part of this programme . It has helped me to stop and take stock when the pain gets overwhelming. Thank you

The videos on this course are clear, informative and easy to follow. The speakers are calm and the way that they talk shows that they have a great awareness of the difficulties and impact that chronic pain has on everyday life. The sharing of their knowledge and tips to try is most helpful - thank you

I completely this course and have use some of the techniques it taught me in day to day life my pain is still here but I've found different ways to cope with it. I have enjoyed listening to the advice from all the different professionals and will be using it all I the future.

I was very skeptical before stating the program as I didn’t think anyone could understand my personal pain, I was so wrong. I appreciated the way in which the course was produced, by that I mean the way in which the professionals spoke, to me not at me. This course is a game chaser in understanding my pain, yes I still have pain but with hard work and determination I foresee the potential to reduce it’s effect on my life, and my family’s life.. Everyone who experiences chronic pain should try this course, it help me, it could well help them. The exercises and meditation are my favorite, but the understanding of pain is a vital part of it. Thank you for your helping hand..

I found the course easy to fit into my schedule and its helped my greatly undertsand better my condition and importantly how to live with it. I related to all the material given and the examples given of others experience was spot on so I knew I wasn't alone and that the people really did undertsand the issue and coping techniques that have been effective. Anyone reading this stick with the programme to the end and whilst its, easy to get distracted, especially when flare ups become less frequent try and keep doing all the course content, look back at the library and you will benefit from it. It might be slight but thats worth it alone.

I recommend this course to anyone living with chronic pain. It includes loads of useful information and tips, but more than anything it has challenged my thinking about pain and has taken away the fear of pain, enabling me to do more of the things that will actually help.

I was sceptic at the start and I must admit I knew most of the techniques offered, it was nothing new. But hearing them from experts did really help me as a lot was done from self research and thus reassured me I was on the right road. Plus I needed to embed it more into my lifestyle! The biggest impact and change to my lifestyle was that persistant pain is not damage!! That changed my mindset this had the biggest impact as I was always worrying there was something more wrong with me.

Definitely a well thought out program that deals with pain and how to manage your pain I found the course very helpful and the exercises and stages of the course helpful too I am in constant pain all the time as I have fibromyalgia but still did the exercises the best I could would recommend this course.

The course was helpful to me by increasing my confidence and attitude towards my disability and making me consider ways forward. The single most helpful item was that pain does not mean damage. I have done some research based on that premise and discovered that my disability is not my fault in any way, that there is nothing in my life that I have either done or not done to cause it and that although it is progressive I cannot do any further damage by any of my activities. So thank you.
