Make sure you are as alert as possible each time you start a new step, in order to absorb and remember what you are being told in the videos. You can replay a video, but can't go back to it once you have moved on to the next step. I have found the course quite helpful particularly the meditation and exercises. I tried to reduce my meds without too much success. That's something I'd like to be able to do in the longer term. I still have pain, but it's easier to work through it. Doing this course in virtual lockdown and in the busy run up to Christmas was not the best time, because anxiety levels for me are higher during the pandemic and it was difficult to remember to log on to the course with all the distractions of Christmas. Overall, the course has been helpful and I'm glad I took part in it.

The pathway through pain is definitely worth participating in no matter what your circumstances or level of pain. You will probably already have tried or will be using some of the tools and techniques described but there is always the chance you'll find something new to try. The positive yet realistic approach of the specialists providing the course is great and helps you relate to them and encourages you to try what they suggest. Not everything will help or be useful but many things will be and if just one thing improves your quality of life and/or helps towards reducing your pain levels or coping strategies then it will have been worth it.

When I first heard about this course I was in some doubt that it would actually help. Surprisingly I am happy to say this course has been enlightening! I have thoroughly enjoyed the expert videos and the helpful tips. The course is easy to do and manage at ones own pace. I would highly recommend that others who suffer from chronic pain try the course as there is a lot of good advice and tips on how to try and improve your quality of life and to manage the pain better. The course also addresses the impact pain can have on one's mental health also, which is very helpful. I am glad I decided to take this step and will be sure to access the resources in the library online as a way to continue with pain management.

It was an interesting course, especially the relaxation and mindfulness which I will continue with to use as I can always look back at and not just try and remember it . Many thanks.

The course overall has been very helpful. It has taught several useful methods I can use to try and limit my pain, though the limit to which it can help depends on how bad my pain is at any given time. My only comment regarding the course itself, is that asking questions with a simply range of options to choose from, I feel does not allow the individual to have the ability to give some feedback on how they feel; found something useful or simply give a more precise response. I don't know if any of the returns are reviewed by someone, but if they are, it might give them a more accurate insight on how a patient might feel or how helpful the course is. The latter would give developers, how well the course helps patients and areas of possible improvement for future users.

Thankyou for the opportunity to participate in the course, I have really enjoyed the process and have found lots of fantastic information on improving my thoughts about pain and the way I can manage it. I have started to integrate these into my daily stretching and strengthening routines I currently perform and have seen there is light at the end of the tunnel. I will need to keep practicing some of the techniques, especially the meditation and relaxation side of things, I struggle to relax and have a young family so finding the time to perform these activities, or get the peace and quiet to do it can be tricky! I was prepared for a longer term improvement so am happy to continue with the routines and advice given and am determined to continue my improvement.

Found this course very useful, not only for pain but for relaxation and help with sleeping. I can honestly say I have had 3 full nights sleep in the last week. Before this course I have not had a full undisturbed nights sleep in over 6 years...I'm starting to feel I am more in control of my life now. A huge thank you from me.

I am glad that I completed this course, I especially found the exercises challenging as well as helpful and I try to do them everyday. The relaxation would be good if I didn't have noisy neighbours.

This has been an interesting and enjoyable experience over the past few weeks. I have looked forward to each session and to listening to the experts give me many valuable examples of how I can approach managing my pain. I am working on these ideas daily to help me function without too much pain eg by pacing, relaxing and exercising. I am still getting pain walking but I rest or stretch to help me continue. Thank you to all the professionals for their expertise throughout this course.

I was able to use some of the strategies and techniques but I suffer with pain all over, and some of this can only be alleviated with joint replacements.

I am a fibromyalgia suffer , pain is ever changing but constant . Fatigue is a major problem, this course has taught me that worry , the wrong mind set all adds to the fatigue. I have been doing tai chi for the last 4 years, since my fibromyalgia started. This course has very much reinforced how vital it is to keep stretching and moving , I now tell myself I have pain anyway and to exercise is doing me good . When I am exercising I now call it good pain . Knowing I am not doing any damage to myself but in fact doing good physically and mentally, mentally especially there is a big difference. Having all the facts and understanding what to try physically with the right mind set is invaluable. Thank you so very much for putting together this course , knowledge is power and it has enabled me to be excited about the future. I am also looking forward to trying different exercises and meditations etc to maintain my progress.

I have found this course to be extremely beneficial. It has encouraged me to take action on managing my pain. I am now active EVERY day. I Have become obsessed with yoga again which I had not been able to enjoy for several years because it hurt too much. I love the holistic approach that this programme takes. The meditations are a fantastic resource. I am actually really pleased to report that I have a much more optimistic outlook on the future. I am now in the process of making changes in my career and I want to become a holistic health and wellness coach so that I can inspire and support others (particularly chronic pain sufferers) to achieve their optimum lifestyle. Thank you so much for creating this course. It has been a life changer!

Fabulous. Whilst I already knew quite a bit of the information from my physiotherapists, it was very helpful to have it reinforced. This course enabled me to see that I need to revise pacing to prevent the pain and fatigue from escalating to levels where I can’t do anything. I also learned from the course how to better control pain. The natural thing is to tense muscles when in pain, but on this course I learned, and will continue to use, the relaxation and meditation videos to relax so as not to worsen the pain.
