I have found the whole 24steps helpful and supportive. The whole process is explained in a way everyone can understand. Personally hate taking medication so found the stretching and meditation exercises particularly helpful. The way it is presented is especially helpful as you complete at your own pace and there’s no pressure on you to complete you can do at your own pace I would recommend this program to everyone who has or is suffering pain and limitations on everyday activities.

Thankyou so much for all the help and support you have given me. Sometimes we want things to work quicker than they do I will keep going back to the library and watching and doing the mindfulness. Been a bit harder towards the end as I have fractured 2 ribs 8 weeks ago by turning over in bed. And getting in and out my daughters car I have fractured the same 2and 2ribs on the other side which I am having difficulty with. Once again thankyou for all you help and I will miss listening to your talks and the help you have all given me.

This is a great programme to follow if you are suffering from Fibromyalgia with constant muscle pain. It worth pursuing all the techniques in the programme in order manage your pain. The meditation techniques are amazing, really take on board your environment and just listen and relax. The pain and sleep meditation really helped me. I now have a positive approach to the pain I feel and how to deal with it. I no longer feel I have to complete everything and its OK to relax and rest without feeling guilty. I have started to swim on a regular basis and walking regularly, challenging myself to improve my physical fitness along with keeping mindful not too dwell on any pain I may suffer from it. I feel now it is mind over matter. This program should be offered to all pain sufferers from the first onset instead of prescribing medication. I am looking forward to a better quality of life and not feeling I am redundant at 60.

I've been practicing the excersises, stretches and relaxation techniques which have helped immensely. I continue to have pain, however, I manage it much better. I think activities through prior to completion and don't set unattainable goals. I feel much happier and healthier.

Yes this program works at the beginning as I hoped it would but as times gone on I still can't walk more than 100yards then the pain starts so I stay in my flat most and get taxis wherever I go But this would definitely work for some you must try it

I was a bit sceptical at first because I have done other online programs and found it really hard to engage, but this program was so refreshing and I really began to question myself about my pain and how I could control it. The biggest thing I took away was ‘pain does not mean damage’. I found all the videos really helpful and felt I was being spoken to and not at talked at. The meditation videos in my library are especially helpful to me and for the first time after trying so many times I could actually stop thinking of things and totally relax. So thank you for making me realise that even with pain I can have a life

If you don't have a victim mentality about your pain "why me, so unfair" this may not prove of any use. The focus is changing your mentality about your pain, which I presume is helpful if you don't already have a positive or neutral outlook surrounding it.

I found this program really helpful through all the steps . I have never been someone who listens to relaxation videos but I found these very easy to listen and relax to, I will definitely be using these in the future . I have enjoyed doing the online program . There have been a lot of things spoken about in this program from the professionals that will help me move forward and enjoy my life even with the pain I experience .

I’ve really enjoyed this online course. It’s given me a lot of useful information and advice on how to manage my pain on a daily basis. I can’t say I’m able to use all of the techniques I’ve learned but I’m giving them a really good go. I feel positive for the future and anxious as this is completely different territory.

I found the course useful, not for pain relief, but learning how to adjust to my new way of life of living with pain. Some of the sessions were really good for affirmation that I am doing some of the right things already but the sessions that I found most useful were around learning to pace myself and that it is ok to say no to going places without feeling guilty and also the sleep meditation sessions, I found these really useful and am still using them even after finishing the course. Anybody thinking that this course will be a miracle cure, it won't, but it will help to understand some of your pain and how to live with it.

I managed to get on this programme as a member of public desperate to do a pain course. This course definitely needs to be made available to members of the public and not just referred by medical practitioners. Make it open I everyone.
