I’m so glad that Ethel Hill recommended this course, it has made me feel happier and more positive about my health, not just my pain. The issues addressed were very relevant especially dealing with set backs and relaxation. I have found this course informative in giving me more of an understanding on coping with my situation. As I was able to do this course online, I was able to go at my pace without interruptions. I had done 4 lessons at the group course but found the group discussions almost depressing and for me, not helpful. The online course was much more suited to me and has helped me decide how to manage my life, along with determination to keep going and not give up the things I love doing. Thank you for this. The specialists who talked on the videos did so in a way that was easy to understand. Well done. I would recommend this course to anyone who is having persistent pain that is really impacting on their life. Thank you for helping me to understand that there is a life, a fulfilling life to be lived. Thank you again.

 I have found your course helpful, but it is a pity that it has coincided with my ankle problem, which has nothing to do with persistent pain as, although I have had no pain while in the boot, it and not persistent pain, has of course limited my mobility. But, living near the water, I have still been able to enjoy my kayak by wearing a waterproof boot leg and workman’s boot cover found on the internet. There is always a way! Thank you for the course. I will use your library while I am convalescing.

Completing the course has made me feel more positive and optimistic at being able to manage my pain. I found the course easy to follow, and generally helpful and encouraging. I would recommend anyone who was given the opportunity to take part in the course to do so. Some of the information was already known to me, but it is good to have information repeated sometimes. I found the relaxation techniques particularly helpful.

The positivity from this course has helped me to have the confidence to start the new year with a new job.
