I found the course generally good but there were some extra positive and some negatives also. The extra positives i found were the pain relief techniques and the meditation steps which helped me more than any physical steps. The negatives i found were that there is no direct contact with any of the doctors or clinicians either via E.Mail or telephone which i feel would have helped get through certain steps and think the E.Mail would be the better option also not to assume everyone can do everything in the course such as the stretches as i certainly could not do them without causing a lot more pain lasting over a week. Generally the course is good for most people in pain. Thankyou for all the help

I thought this course was brilliant and very reassuring. I doubt my pain will ever get 'better' but I can manage it in such a way that I feel like I can live a relatively normal, life.

This course has changed my life. Realising that pain does not equal damage was like a lightbulb moment for me and gave me the confidence to move my body more. I feel as if I have my life back now, and I am keeping up with the exercise and the mindfulness and relaxation techniques. They have all made a huge difference in my pain levels and my attitude to pain. Thank you all so much. Best wishes, Tina

Felt this course was useful to understand my pain and how i can manage it. Also how not to be so hard on myself when i have over done it and just step back until i feel less pain. Also found the relaxation sessions really good.

I cannot praise this course enough. If I could I would shake every single one of your hands, it's made a huge difference to me. This course has finally shown me the structure behind a full pain management approach, it's been so very helpful. It's competed bits of the jigsaw I've been trying to piece together since diagnosis of a chronic condition. Anyone with a condition where pain features should do this course, it would improve quality of life and save the NHS time, money and resource. I've recommended it already and it has pointed me towards other resources which I will follow up. First class, life altering, so thankful I was referred to do this, sincere thanks.

I have found this course to be an eye-opener; although I had myself taken on various methods of coping with chronic constant pain; I find that having those points validated by the Team members in this course, and having it explained to me along with further information on other methods suggested in here, means that I can tailor all the information towards my condition. I found I'd made the important connection between the pain and my mobility in this course; namely, that the pain itself isn't damaging my joints, but that increased stretching and mobility will help with muscle strength and suppleness rather than little movement and pain. I had always thought that the more it hurt the more damage it was doing. I have more confidence in living day to say with my condition now and that's thanks to this course as well. It's very reassuring to know that I can dip into and put of the course into the future too. Very Many Thanks for the help; and the way the course is arranged makes it informative without seeming overbearing. Thank You

I found this course very useful. Also I was a bit apprehensive but found it very eye opening. To get the most out of the course be prepared to maybe change how you approach your daily life. The relaxing and meditation videos I will return to often. Thank you

This is a really well put together course and thank you for producing it. I think I've realised that my pain experience probably isn't quite as bad as I thought and the techniques described throughout have, for the most part, been useful. Overall I think I am much more confident that despite being a chronic pain sufferer, I do actually manage it very well.

I highly recommend anyone with chronic pain to complete this course. It has helped me enormously. It is positive and gives what we all need....Hope. Hope that we can manage our own pain not the pain manage us. It works. Thanks to all the team for making this course a pleasure to complete and for helping me reach my goals.

The Pathway through Pain online course provides an amazing insight into pain management, from exercise to relaxation. Through it you get to gain the experience and advice of a number of professionals who understand the challenges of everyday pain management, in the comfort of your own home. It has provided me with invaluable support and the platform on which to build - highly recommended.

I have learnt that you can help control pain yourself although every day can be different, so you need to make most of the good days and not give up on bad days. Over all I have found the course beneficial. Marian Ludlow

I cannot thank the Team of Pathway through Pain enough. Your Team has provided excellent course work that is suited to individual needs, very informative and thought provoking videos, while having ongoing questionnaires and the Journal at the beginning of each step. The Review, Library etc. is an excellent tool that I hope I will be able to use for the coming months and especially the Meditation videos. Thank you again.

I am new to learning that I am in pain and that my behaviour has been affecting others around me. My pain has contributed to a lot of things over the years and I wasn't aware just how many aspects of my life, my way of thinking, and my relationships has been affected by this. By doing this course I feel I have learnt to start challenging a life time of negative thought and challenge those feelings of self worth as well as how I react to others instead of saying 'I'm FINE', I now react with 'I'm struggling can you help me please'. I now realise I can't be a superwoman because it's wore me out doing that and the negative result of trying to do everything is that now I can't do anything I want to do as I am so consumed by the 'everything'. If I outsource and delegate things then my work load gets lighter and I can do the things I want to do instead.
